As in years past, URAC will again provide communications for the CROP Hunger Walk. With parking limited, the tentative plan is to meet at 12:00 noon at the Korean Bell, then leave most cars parked there. With its inception in 1969, CROP Hunger Walks are viewed by many as the granddaddy of charity walks. The walk’s legacy is deeply entrenched even in our own community; Peninsula Harbor has hosted 36 CROP Hunger Walks since 1981, raising nearly $1 million over the years!”
